Worry Plate

There is absolutely a direct correlation to how I feel mentally and what foods I put in my body. Last January I started a "healthy Living" program. I learned a lot! One of the MANY changes in my habits was cutting sugar and carbs out of my diet. I don't even know how I found the will power to do such a thing since choc chip cookies are my absolute favorite food, but through the program it kind of tricked me into making healthy choices. I felt physically really good and strong.

Then Thanksgiving happened - YIKES! The official start of the holiday season. The official start of eating and drinking and drinking and eating. The official start of party after party after party after party. For me this lasted up until NEW YEARS DAY! I woke up after New Years and felt gross and when my body feels bad, my mind follows almost immediately.  However, I recommitted to healthy living and it has been about a week of making healthy choices. Not even a week....5 days. Just 5 days and I feel better. 5 days and i feel actually physically good.

I started coaching this program in August and what i like about coaching is it holds me accountable. I can't very well coach people on making healthy choices if I'm not in it with them. It keeps me focused and when I feel physically good and healthy, its like it  just takes one less thing off my worry plate.
